In a recent twist, the American Medical Association has decided to seek alternatives to the Residency Matching Program, an algorithm by which med school students are partnered to hospitals for their residency. This decision is ironic in light of the previous standpoint of the AMA fighting to keep the Matching Program in a 2002 lawsuit…join medical students, doctors, school officials, and AMA employees on a journey to reinventing what the future of medicine will look like.
